Dear Horizons National Board,
We are thrilled to announce that several members of the Horizons National Board of Directors have joined together to offer a $1 Million challenge grant to be matched between March 2013 and March 2015.
Inspired by our organization’s potential to reach many more students through unprecedented growth opportunities, Mary and John Brock, Sharon and Doug Karp, Leslie and Angus Littlejohn, and Jane and Brian Williams together have offered to match each incremental dollar of funding raised, up to one million, during the two year grant period.
Given our current pipeline and the progress already made to implement the Community Focused Expansion (CFE) strategy in Atlanta, this amazing opportunity could not be more timely. At this stage of Horizons National’s development, growth is constrained only by the resources available to implement new programs – with our approach that has proven to ensure sustainability over the long term.
We are humbled and incredibly grateful to be working with such a dynamic and supportive board of directors!
